LTMilTech is investing in the production of brushless drone motors in Lithuania

Brushless motors are critically important in today’s defense sector. They are widely used in both reconnaissance and combat operations, where precision, rapid response, and reliable real-time performance are essential.

Why is drone motor production in Lithuania so significant?

Brushless motors, also known as BLDC (Brushless DC) motors, are one of the core components in drone manufacturing. At present, however, production capacity for these motors is concentrated mainly in Asia, creating supply-chain dependence on that region. In response, and in light of the current geopolitical situation, LTMilTech is launching production in Lithuania. This will help reduce risks linked to transcontinental supply chains and support the technological sovereignty of Europe’s defense industry.

What distinguishes LTMilTech’s drone motors?

First, these motors are a strategically important component for defense systems and are manufactured in Lithuania. Local production enables us to respond efficiently to customer requirements, rapidly align manufacturing capabilities with client needs, and ensure local supply chains. In addition, LTMilTech’s R&D division has optimized motor parameters, improving the efficiency of both the motors and the final product, the drone.

The company is currently investing in the production of electric motors across four size categories and has already tested prototype models in 28, 31, 35, and 42 mm series. By the end of the year, production is planned to scale up to 90,000 units per month. LTMilTech is also committed to maintaining the highest quality standards and smooth local manufacturing in Lithuania, contributing to the long-term security of our country and the wider region.
